The strengthening of the capacities of the Operational Structures for precautionary measures in case of floods and fires continues, within the project “TO BE READY - The flOod and Big firE foREst, prediction, forecAst anD emergencY management”, funded under the Interreg IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro Programme. 

On 17 November 2022, the staff of the Albanian National Agency for Civil Protection were on the field to donate this equipment in each of 6 municipalities mentioned below.

Thanks to this project, 2 storage tanks and suction pumps, 2 high-capacity suction pumps, plastic boats with and without a motor, 12 diving suits were donated to the Fire Protection and Rescue Stations in the municipalities of Tirana, Durrës, Shkodër, Kurbin, Fier and Pustec.

This initiative it is co-financed by the European Union, under the Instrument for Pre-Accession (IPA II).
